Summary - 13 year olds are at the age where they crave independence but are not yet adults. Their starting to become more independent and want a little extra money. Whether it’s to have fun on their own or start up saving money, it’s important that teenagers start learning to manage their money at a young age.
Taking Photographs- A great way of encouraging creativity, in fact my own mother brought me a camera recently.
Making Music- If your child has an interest in music, this option widens their view to musical careers
Completing Surveys- There are a lot of survey sites out there that don’t pay much. You should limit yourself to doing surveys through sites that you know are legit in terms of how much they pay.
Selling Old Stuff online- You’re almost certainly going to need a parent or guardian’s permission for this one given that they may have bought your things for you, but a great way to make some cash
Making Jewelry - In fact all you need if a community to sell products to and a local dollar general to get started
Organization Services- If your child has a knack for organizing/cleaning encourage them to start their own business
YouTube Videos or Streaming- If you truly enjoy entertaining and informing others you could stream and YouTube. Although this option takes time it to build up your audience, if you work at it to build up your audience, you can definitely make money by doing this
Make Printables- Printables are pieces of artwork, drawings, graphic design or pictures that you can download online and print yourself.
Design T-Shirts- Another option available for those who like graphic design, art, and creative arts.
Start a Blog- If you care strongly about an issue or topic and would like to dive deeper and expand your network while gaining a chance to make money blogging might be right for you.
Self Publishing Books- With the help of a parent teenagers can self-publish your children’s book. Although to publish successfully you should hire your own illustrator, editor, cover designer.
Yard Work- Yard work isn’t just limited to mowing lawn. There are several ways to earn money including weed picking, plant watering, and even making your own garden and selling your flowers and crops you grow
